Islington Council supports parking for the follically challenged

25 October 2010

Slapheads absolutely should be allowed to park closer to the shops - that way they spend less time in public offending others with their ugly bald heads. So well done to Islington Council for taking the initiative and seeing through the excuses of so-called "blue-badge" holders. The fact is disabled people don't need parking spaces - if they really were disabled, how could they even drive in the first place?

Wake up Paul a person does not have to be in a wheelchair to be disabled!
  • The B.
Not necessarily, have you consider it might be a parking spot for cars with threadbare tyres?
  • The B.
    considered.

About time someone told it how it is with disabled spots! How come, in supermarkets, the disabled spaces furthest from the door are actually further away than some normal spaces?

"About time someone told it how it is with disabled spots! How come, in supermarkets, the disabled spaces furthest from the door are actually further away than some normal spaces?" More to do with the size of the space to allow for easy access rather than the actual proximity to the store.

"The fact is disabled people don’t need parking spaces – if they really were disabled, how could they even drive in the first place?" What an idiotic statement.

"Added 29 May" Slow news day? Your only 5 months late.

That space is next to a Job Centre so will never be used anyway.

@ yak and Peter Griffin. You both need to go and look up irony and sarcasm. It's surprising as a Family Guy fan you didn't comprehend either of those two concepts - oh no, wait a minute - Family Guy is just another one of those programmes that idiots watch to just laugh at the obvious gags and sit there in confused silence when a gag requires brain power. Or is that ironic? Oooh.

Islington Council dont know how to fix pot holes in roads either. Or come to mention it actually build speed humps at reasonable heights, which dont contain a pot hole the other side of it. So no this does not surprise me they are fucking mongs.

@ Simbaaaaaaa - it's not a slow news day, unless you saw this five months ago. Which you didn't. And for everyone else who thought there was a swipe at the disabled in there, what Paul Coia said. For fuck's sake.

As Andy pipkins says "yeah, I know"
  • Nobby
No doubt the mentally retarded people (or mongs as they are commonly known) that did this are now unemployed and about to get their disability benefits cut.
  • zleet
Wouldn't need the spaces now that the mobility money for those in residential care has been cut. Next time I drive past the local cripple home I expect to see the gaunt faces of those trapped within till they die at the windows. Likely with a hand pressed up to the glass pining for human contact, but in their case probably one of those Jeremy Beadle little hands.

I'd love to see this joke in the flesh. Where exactly is it?
