Best Buy UK - now there's a sort of website!
Like a huge parasitic worm filled with Blu-ray players and, er, kettles, Best Buy are slowly encroaching into the hearts and minds of UK shoppers ahead of their Spring launch - and now they’ve got a proper-ish website up and running and everything.
On the site, you’ll find bland ‘inspiration and advice’ about various electrical goods like computers and fridges along with bland updates on some of the funky new Best Buy stores that will be opening up later in the year.
Naturally, there’s also a ‘community’ aspect, with a forum where half a dozen people make vaguely positive noises about the forthcoming arrival of Best Buy along with some thinly-disguised pleading for a job. DSGi staff might need to start thinking carefully about this one.
There’s also a link to their YouTube channel (three subscribers so far) and the whole thing has got us wetting our pants in anticipation even less enthralled than we are about the Jonathan Ross news.
We’re not sure whether we welcome our new billionaire electrical retail overlords. We’re really not.
