A free three-course meal in London - if your neck is brassy enough
Bitterwallet and HotUKDeals are all about getting you the best value for your cash, and we’re not averse to plugging the odd freebie too. This one could be put in that latter category but if any of you take full advantage of it we’ll be extremely cross with you. Got that?
For the whole of February, The Little Bay restaurant in Farringdon, London is running a promotion where diners simply pay what they feel the food was worth. That could be as little as, well, nothing, or as much as £100,000 – if you’re a monied idiot.
Normally, three courses, with a side dish of vegetables, costs £18.65, so we’re not talking about high luxury here. Plus, drinks aren’t included in the promotion, and as most restaurants make their dosh from flogging bottles of wine, the Little Bay’s proprietor should do okay out of what is a pretty shrewd offer.
So get along and take advantage of the offer, but if you’re only going to leave them a penny for the grub, please try and get through half a dozen bottles of wine while you’re about it.
