HotUKDeals Of The Day - Wednesday 6th October

hukd_logob1 What would you say to us if we said we could get you a cheap telly, some violently reduced PC games AND a cheap night on the lash in a hotel in one of Britain’s top cities? You wouldn’t believe us would you? Well you’d better start believing... unless Nottingham isn’t one of Britain’s top cities any more.

As per usual, all this and more comes straight from the bargain pipe that is jutting out of HotUKDeals...

772046_1We’re in a celebratory mood today what with our birthday and all that and if you enjoy forgetting about the stresses and strains of home life, our first deal could be one for you, as it involves getting absolutely hammered and passing out in a hotel.

You’ll have to go to Nottingham to do it but you can have an hour’s free bar followed by dinner, a night in a hotel room and breakfast the following morning all for £25 per person. How much do you want to go to Nottingham NOW then, eh?

771612_1Dear reader, we’re now going to ask you a sensitive question that might evoke some disturbing memories that you’d really rather forget. Brace yourself, here goes – have you ever been... left for dead?

You haven’t? Amazing! With that in mind then, you might like to consider investing in the PC games Left For Dead (£4.44) and Left For Dead 2 (£5.09). You can play safe in the knowledge that you’ve never been left for dead and that no horrific memories will be dredged up (apologies if you’ve ever been left for dead)

771635_1Finally, a couple of TV deals that might get you so excited that you take leave of your senses and hurl a heavy object through the screen of your current TV set. If that’s the case, no need to thank us, it’s what we’re here for.

If you like your screens on the larger side, there’s the Panasonic TX-P42C2B 42" HD-ready plasma TV for just £369.99 (if you can get the code to work – it’s a tenner more if not). Or, if you’d prefer a telly that you can carry around under your arm, for reasons that we’re not entirely sure about, there’s the 22 inch LG M227WD 1080p LCD gogglebox for only £149.99.

(deals found by HUKD members martinnelsen, Fuse, stephenjames84 and Deano467)

hmm, is it considered a "good deal" to stay at a dive? Most of the comments on the hotukdeals are slagging it off and the trip advisor reviews, oh the trip advisor reviews...

What do you think?
