HotUKDeals Of The Day - Tuesday 27th October 2009
Whenever we try and imagine the typical Bitterwallet reader, we like to think of someone who, in the absence of possessing any TV listings magazines, is resorted to watching nothing but Christmas DVDs all day long, shovelling a popular butter substitute into his mush to help quell the pain.
Say what? That’s you? Thank heavens – you’ll love today’s toppermost bargains, all courtesy of HotUKDeals…
We can’t believe it. We can’t believe that we’re telling you about 500g of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. We can’t believe that 500g of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter isn’t on sale for its usual price of about £1.14. We can’t believe that 500g of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter isn’t on sale for a ridiculous price of £114.
We can’t believe the price that they’re selling 500g of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter for at the moment. We literally can’t believe it. What we’re saying is that we can’t believe that 500g of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter is currently on sale for just 50p. That’s 500g of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter for just 50p. We can’t believe it. 500g.
Here’s a hardy perennial of the deal scene that’s come around again, but with a seasonal twist that gives it a bit of added spice. It’s a 12-week subscription to the Radio Times for just one shiny pound coin. Or even a dulled one, they’re not fussed.
The twist is that the 12 week period will include the bumper Christmas edition of the popular listings magazine, which normally sells for (we’re guessing here) a fiver on its own. Just remember to cancel your subscription early on so that they don’t charge you full price after the first 12 weeks.
Finally, a helpful pre-Christmas list of Yuletide-flavoured DVDs that can be had for only £2.99, including delivery. Which is probably all they’re worth, bearing in mind that you’ll watch them once a year.
The list includes 12 Dogs Of Christmas, Mickeys Once Upon A Christmas, Night Before Christmas: A Mouse Tale, Olive The Other Reindeer, Rugrats Christmas, Santa Claus: The Movie, and Wow Thats What I Call Christmas. No sign of Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Christmas though. Bastards.
