HotUKDeals Of The Day - Monday 21st February

21 February 2011

hukd_logob1As Joey Boswell was occasionally heard to say in the hit 1980s Liverpool-based, Carla Lane-penned BBC sitcom, ‘Greetings’. We haven’t really got any more space to add anything else to this opening paragraph after that.

But we’re obliged to point out that HotUKDeals is the world’s greatest resource for hot UK-based deals.

881538_1We regularly highlight bargain games here, but more often than not, they’re for the all-singing, all-dancing consoles - maybe it’s time we stepped back and remembered that there are other outlets for your gaming fury as well, such as the humble, hardy PC.

With that in mind, it is with great delight and no amount of bosom-swelling pride that we point you in the direction of a big bunch of PC games that can be had for only £5.00 each. They include Batman Arkham Asylum, Bioshock 2 and Ghostbusters. Don’t mention it dear readers.

881405_1Next, a DVD box set. Unless you are devoid of a sense of humour or have no heart, or worse still, have no DVD player, there is no reason we can think of why you shouldn’t fork out the tiny amount of £6.47 for this.

It is the Looney Tunes Golden Collection and for your meagre outlay, you’ll get four discs, including a Bugs Bunny collection and a Daffy Duck and Porky Pig collection. It’s almost like they’ve come along and said they can guarantee you happiness for less than seven quid. Have you ordered it yet? Why not?

881710_1Finally, a new telly for you to watch your silly old cartoons on. It’s a Toshiba 40RV753B 40 inch widescreen full HD 1080p LCD gogglebox with built-in Freeview and loads of other specs that we can’t be arsed to list here. The most important fact is that you can have it for only £379.

Better still, buy it now and you could cop for a year’s membership of Lovefilm or a dozen free Odeon cinema tickets, each mini-offer worth around about £100. Although why you would want to buy a snazzy new TV and then go to a cinema filled with noisy, ignorant, popcorn-chomping twathandles is beyond us to be honest.
