Thomson and First Choice introduce 10kg baggage for infants

In a move to be welcomed by budget-flying mums everywhere Thomson and First Choice will be introduce a 10kg baggage allowance for infants (children under two) as of May 1st, 2009. Along with this baggage allowance the airlines will continue to carry folding pushchairs free of charge.

Although carriers such as BA and Virgin already have infant baggage allowance it is has generally been stripped out on budget carriers. Ryanair and easyJet still do not have an infant allowance.
