£119 flights to New York
Flying to the United States of America is something a lot of people want to do, but feel like they can't afford.
Well, WOW Air are offering flights to New York City this autumn, with trips starting at £119 one-way, including taxes, which is good news.
The Icelandic airline will fly from Gatwick and Bristol to New York's Newark Liberty International airport daily from 25th November 2016.
Of course, there won't be the bells and whistles of other flights - this one will go via Iceland, and there'll be no entertainment on-board for you to enjoy on your 10 hour flight.
Good thing there's books, Kindles, iPads, headphones and the rest to keep you from going stir-crazy, eh?
This follows WOW air's launch of transatlantic flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Washington D.C., Toronto and Montreal back in May.
Skúli Mogensen, CEO of WOW air, said: "Having announced new routes to Canada and California plus our two new UK routes, the addition of New York is a reflection of our determination to keeping the momentum going and to continue changing the landscape of transatlantic travel."
"We know that New York is a desirable destination for many travellers from the UK and Europe, so it's exciting to be able to add this vibrant, global city to our portfolio of North American destinations, making it even more accessible to those on a budget."
WOW's cheap flights from Britain to New York start from £119 one-way. A return London to New York journey travelling 27 November 2016 to 4 December 2016 will cost you just £238.
