Wii and LoveFilm team up

7 December 2012

If you have a Nintendo Wii and a LoveFilm account, you'll now be able to access a free app from the Amazon-owned streaming service. And, if you've already got a Wii U, then you'll soon be able to get your eyes round a HD version soon.

Wii's have already got Netflix, which has run on the console for a while now, but this new exclusive deal should put an end to that.

What's good about streaming on Wii U is that you can watch HD content on your television, but also, you can view films on the wireless handheld controller.

Of course, the LoveFilm app is free, but you'll need to be spending at least £5 per month for a subscription to the service.
