Pebble smartwatch price drop in UK

pebble Remember Pebble smartwatches? Well, they're cutting their prices across the UK. Obviously, with Apple's watches getting all the headlines, this is a bid to remind everyone there's another option.

The most notable reductions focus on the Pebble Time, now available for £149.99 (they were £179.99), and the Pebble Time Round, which is now £179.99 (formerly £229.99). That's still pricey for a watch, but if you're into that sort of thing, this is good news.

That said, the reduced prices are still more expensive than they're going for in the USA, where you can get the Pebble Time and Pebble Time Round for $149.99 and $199.99.

Either way, the whole range in the UK is seeing a price drop, with the Pebble Time Steel now £199.99, and the Pebble Steel down to £119.99. The original Pebble smartwatch is selling for £79.99.

There's been updates to the devices - Pebble Health has new software which is good for those of you who like to track your fitness regimes and all that jazz. It has new on-screen charts and has been warmly reviewed, when the update happened just before Christmas.

Check for more info, and money off and whatnot. Or just buy a £20 digital Casio watch instead, if you like. We're not the boss of you.

Internet companies like Amazon have their own currency exchange rate £1 = $1 if anything needs investigating this rip off pratice does.

It's been like that for years. It used to be cheaper to buy an item direct from the USA, pay for shipping AND the customs charges when it arrived and still end up saving pounds.
