HTC launch Facebook phones
Does anyone actually still use Facebook? HTC seem to think so as they've released two new Facebook phones called the ChaCha and Salsa. Awful names, granted, but they look like smart little... uh... smartphones.
These devices now have a UK release date, although not from HTC themselves, but rather, online retailer Expansys.
The Android phones are apparently available as of 17th June, yet there's no price given as yet. Which is rubbish because no-one wants a phone that might end up being a rip-off. Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange have all confirmed that they'll be flogging the ChaCha already, but no word on the Salsa as yet.
The ChaCha looks like the better of the two phones, running Android 2.4 Gingerbread and neat little Qwerty keyboard and 2.6-inch screen. There's also that dedicated Facebook button which appears to be placed in such a way that you'll constantly be hitting it by accident with your ungainly, tubby paws.
We look forward to future releases called 'Rhumba' and 'Drunkenly Swaying Side To Side While Winking At A Lady With Sick Down Your Front' too.
