HotUKDeals Of The Day - Thursday 2nd June

hukd_logob1 Here’s your daily round-up of today’s amazing bargains as powered into the system of HotUKDeals over the past few hours.

And here’s a bonus deal - just as we were ‘putting this thing to bed, news broke that you can get LA Noire for only £27.98 delivered – something which has caused mass hysteria over at HUKD.

950262_1HotUKDeals has also gone Portal 2 crazy over the past 24 hours, and we’re pretty sure you have as well. It’s the game they’re all talking about; some say it’s the best of the year, others say that it’s the best of all time, while some have even said that it’s the gaming equivalent of a choirboy blood transfusion (but we don’t quite know what that means).

Whatever it is, its price is dropping faster than what’s left of Simon Cowell’s credibility. You can get it on the Xbox 360 for £25.97, on the PS3 for an even tinier £22.99 and on the humble PC for the titchy price of only £15.97. You’d have to be half-mad from mentalism to miss out on that.

950059_1If you’ve already got Portal 2 or couldn’t give a flying shit about it, why not console yourself with a new Blu-ray player instead. Console yourself – did you see what we did there? Obviously, you PC gamers wouldn’t have but never mind.

You can currently land yourself a brand spanking new Sony BDPS380 for the low, low price of only £69.99 – that’s an instore collect price; you’ll have to pay a few quid more to have it delivered to you. But maybe you’ll strike up an interesting conversation with the delivery bloke and a lifelong friendship might be forged as a result. Which will be an extra bargain.

950312_1Finally for today, something to help you cope with the newest heat wave that has fallen straight out of the skies and right into our eyes over the last day or so. It’s ice cream – the only thing that you can be certain of, other than death or taxes. Or faxes in taxis, obviously.

The ice cream that we speak of here is Ben & Jerry’s named after the popular cartoon cat and mouse combo of the same name. This weekend, if you buy one tub of the strawberry cheesecake or chunky monkey flavour, you will get two tubs free of charge, working out at only £1.43 per tub. Down the hatch eh greedy guts?
