Gchat sending messages are going to the wrong people

Are you one of the fourteen people who uses Google Talk instant messages (or Gchats if you prefer)? Well, bad news - it seems some messages are going walkies and ending up being sent to the wrong people.

Bad news if you've been sending photos of your junk.

Google says it is aware of the problem and is fixing it: "There was an issue today that affected some people using Google's instant messaging services. We have since identified the problem, stopped it from recurring, and are currently working on a fix. We're very sorry to anyone affected."

Google promptly updated its apps status to say, "The issue has been resolved and all services are gradually returning to normal."

In the meantime, probably wise to stay away from Google Talk, just in case you send an ironically racist gif to your boss instead of your best buddy.
