Call Of Duty: Black Ops - a bargain for nearly £4000 from Amazon

14 March 2011

Bitterwallet's biggest fan, CheShA, spotted this bargain while shopping for some games to play on his 'computer console machine', more commonly known as the Sony Playstation 3.

call of duty

Prices for PS3 games tend to hover around the £40 mark, but there's a spectacular offer from Amazon on the ever popular Call of Duty: Black Ops, going for a very reasonable £3669.00. That's quite the leap from the lowest price of £17.99. We can only hope that the version that comes in at nearly four grand comes with actual war-tested arsenal.

It is a Amazon marketplace seller not Amazon themselves, the marketplace seller can set any price they want, it doesn't mean they are going to get anyone stupid enough to pay that when there are 43 sellers with the same game for a lot cheaper around the normal price £3,669.00 + £2.03delivery New * Seller: Woodlark Trading Limited * Seller Rating:98% positive over the past 12 months. (1,910 total ratings) * In stock. Dispatched from United Kingdom. International & domestic delivery rates and return policy. * UK seller NEW

AMAZON SELLERS: TO AVOID being part of a humourous anecdote on Bitterwallet, make sure you don't accidentally forget to put a decimal point in your prices.

OOPS, made the same mistake listing on Amazon Germany, forgot they used a comma instead of a full stop and listed everything multiplied by 100!! Some real bargains like a Slanket for 2850 Euros!
