Asda lops £20 off price of Kobo WiFi e-book reader

6 December 2011

Everyone seems to have gone a bit e-book mad lately (yes, they're taking off at long last) and so we should all expect a bit of competitive pricing, right?

Well, Asda are going to be selling Kobo's most basic e-book reader for £67 over Christmas, which is a snip.

The Kobo includes Wi-Fi but doesn't have the swish touchscreens that its pricier and generally better Kobo Touch has.

That said though, while Asda selling the Touch for £107, the basic Kobo is much cheaper and a great entry level gadget for the curious.

Better yet is that the reader comes with 100 out-of-copyright classics pre-loaded into it, which should keep you out of trouble.

Asda will be selling the Kobo from this Friday (9th December) onwards.
