Thanks Travelex, but I think I already got your email

Hey, Travelex - rumour has it you're running a promotion on currency sales, some sort of Half-Term Happy Hour gimmick or something?

Just a word to the wise - you might want to let avid Bitterwallet reader Simon know about it. You're probably being too subtle, because apparently he hasn't heard what you're up to yet:

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I kept getting them and deleting them, only for more to appear. I thought there was a problem with googlemail for a while.

@ Simon - I have RapidGas too and find it so embarrassing I avoid social situations. Can you let me know what you do to relieve it?

He uses Hotmail, so he deserves it. Bet he was reading it on his iPad too.

They might not offer the best rate, but they are convenient. Book online, and collect at airport. Once you book the currency, check the current best rates elsewhere, then email asking for the difference to be refunded to you under their price promise pledge (or whatever it is called). I have done it loads of times, always been refunded the difference, plus got the convenience of airport pickup.

With the greatest respect Nobby - you spent the last decade in a bus shelter on the Oundle Road so we'll take your opinions with a pinch of salt.
