Did you follow our gambling tips from Friday, ahead of the England v Algeria ordeal? Here's a reminder...

If you did follow us, you'd have been quids in by 10pm on Friday, with lots of lovely lolly to spend. Your head might have been turned by an email sent out by the Additions catalogue people shortly after 10pm - if wasn't so wrong-headedly inaccurate.

    That's strange. The english don't usually just assume they're going to win do they?

    Not against tough opposition like Algeria. I'm just glad we didn't have to play against New Zealand.

    I would have thought they'd just have two emails standing by: "to commiserate on our terrible loss" and "to cheer you up after yet another god-awful tedious draw".
