McDonalds makes a website just for all the black people
Thanks to inspirational figures like President Obama, Sidney Poitier, Bill Cosby and Captain Dobie from Starsky and Hutch, there's never been a better time to be a black person!
Never quick to miss a trend, McDonalds have gotten hold of this precious information and have launched a special new website, JUST FOR THE BLACK PEOPLE! It's called 365Black, and after applying some theatrical Negro make up, we managed to sneak a look at it yesterday. Phew, the black man on the home page is smiling, rather than trying to rob us.
“Deeply rooted in the community" boasts the site, cleverly referencing the popular 1970s slave drama 'Roots' alongside such pro-active moves as sponsorship of community programmes, a PDF of 'Black History Facts' and erm, a whole bunch of other ridiculously misguided PR shit-wafflage.
Hey, but now that McDonalds are on their side, we hope that black people can throw off their (metaphorical) shackles and become equals of the Hispanics, the Orientals and the Scotch. Who knows – maybe we'll see some of them in the pop charts in a few years' time! The Blacks that is, not the Scotch – obviously.
