A burger pizza. Yes, a burger pizza.

21 August 2010

We’ve all been there. You feel like you want a burger. Then you change your mind, you fancy a pizza instead.

Don’t worry any more – now you can have both, thanks to Burger King. It’s the New York Pizza Burger, a nine and a half inch wide phenomenon fashioned from four Whopper patties topped with pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, and Tuscan pesto sauce.

The bad news is that you’ll only be able to get it from the New York City Whopper Bar from next month (for only $12.99), but surely the whole world will be feasting on this thing before long....

"If you want it your way at BK you got it" is their catchphrase isn't it ? (or at least it was) You should be able to give this article in and say 'one of these please' and they should do their best to make it for you. I remember a 7 layer burger article you did before, that was BK too I think.

Not gonna lie, this actually looks nice, very expensive and very unhealthy though!

This is the first of these super foods that actually looks nice.

That's insane! I don't think it'd quite fill the need for pizza though - there's something just right about doughy, crusty, hot fresh pizza... I'd be willing to give it a go though, but suspect I couldn't eat a whole one!

WTF? IS DIS REAL??? What is it with BW and this fascination for unhealthy burgers - first the double down, then the skinwich, now this.

Come on chaps, stop fobbing us off with this, where's the breakfast sundae photos?

They do a 'proper' pizza burger at Disneyland Paris in their Pizza Planet restaurant. It's a full on thick burger with bacon and cheese, but instead of a bun, it has a cheese and tomato pizza on either side. Don't mind telling you that it's one of the single most delicious things I've ever had! Though it has probably knocked 2 years off my life....

@ShakesHeadSadly, that sounds awesome. However Id love to know how much that would've cost at Disneyland Paris? 50 euros please!
  • ShakesHeadSadly
It wasn't cheap, but it filled you up for the rest of the day! Unless you went on the rides immediately after. Then it didn't last long at all.....
