Next product recall on kid's clothing over fire safety concerns

15 January 2016

Next have issued a safety recall on children's dressing gowns, after it turned out that some of the robes they've been selling don't meet fire safety regulations.

Customers are advised that these particular dressing gowns should be stopped being worn immediately. Here's what the robes in question look like, should you have one in the house.

The Next recall says: "Unfortunately, the cotton jersey hood lining used in the initial deliveries of these styles doesn't meet the stringent flammability requirement set out in the UK Nightwear (Safety) Regulations. We would therefore recommend that you immediately stop using them and contact us."

The product numbers are 355933, 394242, 402567, 799768, 790152 and 936100.

If you think you have one of these robes, or a robe that matches the product number above, which is not pictured, then you need to call 0333 777 8185 where a collection will be arranged for you or, if you prefer, you can pop into your nearest Next shop, where you can get a full refund.

Anyway questions, ring the number above.
