McDonald's recall Step-It

McDonald's have issued a product recall on millions of Step-It fitness trackers, which were given away with Happy Meal.

There's reports of skin irritation and burns from over 70 people, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

"The recalled wristbands can cause skin irritation or burns to children," the CPSC said on their website.

McDonald's have said that they will stop distributing these fitness bands, saying that they'll be recalling 29 million given away in America and another 3.6 million in Canada.

As a gesture of goodwill, Maccies will be giving people who have one of these dodgy trackers a free replacement toy and a yoghurt tube or bag of apple chunks, which is decent of them.

Anyway, feel free to laugh at the notion of a burger vendor giving fitness watches to children.
