Asda recall Rocky Road Bites

Asda have recalled, over allergy concerns. If you're a fan of their Baker's Selection 20 Mini Rocky Road Bites, and have a pack with a best before date of August 4th, you can return them to your nearest store for a full refund.

So what's the craic? Well, some of the packs have been incorrectly packaged with Mini Chocolate Brownies, and they contain egg which is not listed on the package's ingredients.

Obviously, if you are allergic to eggs, or have an intolerance, don't eat them.

A statement issued by Asda on the Food Standards Agency website says: "This makes the product a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg."

"If you have purchased ASDA Baker's Selection 20 Mini Rocky Road Bites with the best before date of 04 AUG 2016 please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt."

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and will ensure this doesn't happen again."
