All packs of Nurofen Plus recalled

27 August 2011

_54959303_nurofenplus All remaining stock of Nurofen Plus has been recalled by its makers, as a precaution, after some packs were found to contain an antipsychotic drug instead of the considerably-less-harmful pain relief.

Its makers Reckitt Benckiser (UK) said that they’d heard of two further examples of what they’re regarding as sabotage, and police are on the hunt for the tablet tamperers.

Anyone who has a packet of Nurofen Plus is advised to return it to a pharmacy.
