30 October 2015

TalkTalk There's been another arrest concerning the TalkTalk hack, and this time, it is a 16-year-old boy from London, according the the police. This follows the news that a 15-year-old boy was held in Northern Ireland concerning the data breach, over the suspicion of offences under the Computer Misuse Act.

TalkTalk shut down its website after what they described a "significant and sustained" attack, which may have seen customer details being stolen. There have also been claims that the company were hit with a ransom demand also.

This is bleak news for customers, who probably won't be getting treated well if they want to leave their contracts early, and more worryingly, this is the third attack TalkTalk have weathered in a year.

Remember, if you think you've been directly affected by this TalkTalk breach, then you need to get yourself over to the designated site set up by the telecommunications company.
