Which companies won Which? Consumer Awards?

20 May 2010

Bitterwallet - Which? Consumer Awards Difficult to say why we didn't receive an invite to last night's Which? Consumer Awards, which were held at the British Museum. Perhaps there's still a little bad blood after we discovered the '“no advertising, no bias, no hidden agenda” organisation promoting specific products in return for pay-per-click advertising. Perhaps they think we're a bunch of feckless halfwits. They'd be certainly be correct on the second point.

Regardless, we never got to enjoy the prawn vol-au-vonts and complimentary house vino as the awards were dished out yesterday, so here's the list of those companies ranked top dogs by Which?:

Well all i can say is Which? patrons must have been stuck under a rock, because how Play.com gets nominated for awards is shocking.

Richer Sounds is there cause they dont actually sell anything, so their customer satisfaction is 100%

Agree that the Richer Sounds one is bollocks. "Oh look we have this million inch top of the range plasma TV for 50p on our website. Unfortunately though its in-store only as a reward for our loyal customers. *goes into store* "Hi, i'm looking for the million inch top of the range TV for 50p" "Sorry Sir, they have all sold out but I can sell you a 5 year old model we've had in the stock room for ages for £5000"

Richer sounds is usually pretty good for deals. Plus they price match + the difference back. I think they are ok! alot better than comet/currys etc... Lets see if Best Buy live up to expectations at the next Which Awards!

Did Which? win the award for most unrealistic consumer survey?

Unfortunately though its in-store only as a reward for our loyal customers. *goes into store* “Hi, i’m looking for the million inch top of the range TV for 50p” “Sorry Sir, they have all sold out but I can sell you a 5 year old model we’ve had in the stock room for ages for £5000″ Yes!! I thought it was just me. Ended up getting my TV online after trudging around 3 stores, all out of stock.
