UK Consumers Spend More Than US Consumers
According to a market study by JupiterResearch, we are a nation of shopaholics and bargain hunters. The study, commissioned by pay-per-action (PPA) marketing provider LinkShare, revealed that on average, UK consumers make 24% more online purchases, spend 40% more when they buy, and are 13% more likely to be frequent online shoppers than US peers. British consumers are also more inclined to shop online than our US counterparts.
UK consumers are also more aggressive bargain hunters, being eight times more likely to research on multiple websites before making the final decision to buy anything.
