TSA screener steals $200k of passenger goods - becomes eBay Powerseller

14 October 2008

No joke. Pythias Brown, a TSA screener in New Jersey, has been helping himself to the bounty of the x-ray machine and re-selling the items on eBay. The largest item stolen was a $47,900 camera from inside the bag of an HBO employee. Now, this is a bad thing but probably only a behavioral result of being named Pythias.

You have to give him credit though for his faultless 100% positive feedback record on eBay.

fast, friendly, awesome product. just as described. will do business again. A+++++

It's amazing. He's maintained a 100% feedback record, with over 200 positive feedbacks over the last 12 months. That equates to stealing 4 new items a week, so he must have at least provided some pretty decent customer service. And here's the best part. Call it karma, but he was supposed to get married yesterday. Wonder where he stole her from?
