The top deals on nettops from Hot UK Deals

As always, Hot UK Deals is sopping wet with top deals to save you cash. Avid Bitterwallet reader MusicRab noticed that there are plenty of savings to be had on Revo nettops at the moment, so has been sifting through the deals to bring you a rundown on the top bargains to be had:

ACER Aspire Revo R3600 with HDMI - Ebuyer
The "cheap-as-chips" deal for £140 from Ebuyer gives you a single core 1.6GHz processor and a Linux based operating system. However, with nvidia ION graphics and an HDMI port you can still watch those HD videos on your 1080p telly. That's after you've installed the likes of Ubuntu and XBMC. There are lots of tutorials for installing these dotted around the web but beware that it'll take you more than five minutes to get it all sorted.

Acer Aspire Revo R3610, Atom N330 dual-core - Ebuyer
This will set you back £200 - it's the same as deal as above, but with a dual core processor, optical S/PDIF port, more memory and a bigger hard drive.

ACER Aspire Revo R3610 with Windows 7 Premium - Maplin
This is the cheapest deal on a Revo with Windows 7, and will cost you £230 with the voucher and minimum order.

Acer Aspire Revo R3610 -
The full monty version with Windows 7 Home Premium, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive and dual core processor.

Obviously, a nettop/netbook style PC is no match in terms of speed or graphics for the big boys; as MusicRab points out, even in dual core form the Intel Atom 330 is still only a 1.6GHz processor and so you shouldn't expect it to run the latest 3D games without a major struggle.

I've got the basic £140 jobbie- installed windows XP on it and its great. It's a bit bigger than it looks, I was expecting Mac Mini size but overall it is great.
