Sexy news! Ann Summers to sponsor Olympic Stadium? Mucky website to feature cow cruelty? Sexy news?

20 September 2011

Bitterwallet - Ann Summers Marks & Spencer ‘Sex sells’ or so they say, and good old Percy Filth seems to be creeping more and more into our everyday lives. VERY continental eh? The Ann Summers chain has already squirmed its way on to our high streets and now the sex store geniuses are looking to spread their influence even further still.

According to reports, there’s a very real chance that West Ham’s new stadium, the 2012 Olympic Stadium lest we forget, could be rechristened the Ann Summers Stadium, in one of those commercial stadium naming deals that are so popular.

West Ham co-chairman David Gold told a meeting of the clubs supporters that he thinks it would be a good idea – possibly due to the fact that Ann Summers is owned by him and run by his two daughters. Watch this space.

Elsewhere in the world of special cuddling, we’re taking a long hard look at the animal rights and veganism activists PETA. In the past, they’ve opted to get their message across to the masses by running adverts starring actresses and models in various states of near-nudity.

Now they’re planning to go one further and launch a pornography website – great for horny fans of animal rights but not so great for the cause of feminism.

But, if you visit the site when it launches (possibly before the end of the year), approach with caution. PETA say that the mucky movies will be intercut with graphic scenes of animal suffering. Talk about a passion-killer...

Depend on how graphic it is~it might even be the deal-clincher for the average PETA supporter (over 95% of the animals they 'rescue' are killed by them).

Oh go on then ... I'll be the first to ask. Does it have foxes?

A joke has now made national news and you are also spreading. A bit of research to just the West Ham website would of told you its a non story. "West Ham United would like to clarify the club has no plans to rename the Olympic Stadium as the Ann Summers Stadium. A story reported in two newspapers this morning [Monday 19 September] came about as a result of a light-hearted comment made by a supporter at a fans forum held by Joint-Chairman David Gold last week."

Thanks David. Oh, and I sometimes write for the Sunday Sport, which I know you used to part-own. Let's not dwell too much on the irony here, eh?

If you are the real David Gold, please buy some new players.
