Refreshing honesty from record shop staff

29 November 2011

Yeah, that's right, we said 'record shop' - they probably sell a couple of 'records'. Get over yourselves. Pretty accurate description as well...

Having had the misfortune to see the travesty on Jools I wholeheartedly agree, it was truly terrible.

As a massive fan of Metallica, I can safely say that this shambles is an abortion in CD form. Avoid if you're a fan of their work. This is a Lou Reed album (and a shite one at that).

Seeing this makes me want to shout.

hate to bust your bubble, jb hi-fi are quite possibly one of the biggest record shops/electrical suppliers in australia. so yeah, they sell a couple, ;), and are known for being refreshingly honest and having the typical aussie sense of humour.

Apparently the 'Top 10' CD stand had, 'Go on, buy this dross if you're a cunt' written on one of those bright yellow stars. huh, how cool.

This album is, without doubt, one of the worst things I've ever heard. I cant see it appealing to anybody, on any level. Musically, it's terrible - and, at best, mediocre... certainly not anything that 'Tallica fans are going to give two craps about... and vocally, it's... well... shit... just plain shit. I think the music is going to put of fans of lou reed, and the 'vocals' are going to put off metallica fans... The only people I can think of that would enjoy this... are the deaf...

I actually kind of liked it... BTW, I know it's a privilege to be able to print the word c*** without the stars but do we have to see it on every Bitterwallet comments page?

What do you think?
