Nothing says "I love you, Dad" like incest and enslavement
More Father's Day shenanigans, this time courtesy of WH Smith and Tesco and their suspect choice of presents. Because if you want to buy a book for Dad this Sunday, nothing says "I love you" better than 320 pages of paperbacked wonder about a father who was charged with charged with incest, rape, coercion, false imprisonment, enslavement and murder. What a guy.
Yes, according to staff at the Lewisham branch of WH Smith, one of the best presents you can spend your cash on is The Crimes of Josef Fritzl: Uncovering the Truth. The book appeared on their Top 50 Books for Dad display, along with the likes of Angels And Demons, although some would argue any chart highlighting Dan Brown's books was more guilty than Josef Fritzl.
The staff at WH Smith weren't the only ones to blindly recommend the work of the sadistic bastard; according to the Evening Standard, the book also appeared amongst the Father's Day selection at Tesco in Leighton Buzzard. He'll probably appreciate a subscription to Razzle more, you know.
