HotUKDeals Of The Day - Friday 5th June

5 June 2009

It’s Friday and that means only one thing – Deals Of The Day turns into a skull-bashing test of skill and judgment as we hit you with statements about the bargains we’ve unearthed.

Are they true or are they false? Only one thing is certain – they’ve all hot-footed it direct from HotUKDeals.

THE DEAL:  Pringles. A nice big 155g tube for just 65p. Yes, that’s right, just 65p. Om nom nom nom…

TRUE OR FALSE?  The inventor of the Pringle based the shape and design of the snack on a piece of cardboard he found in his garden after a hurricane.

THE DEAL: An animal offer as part of National Vaccination Month. Participating vets will provide your pets with discounted vaccinations, saving you up to £30 per pet, as well as a free health check. For you, not the pet. No, wait, it’s for the pet. T&Cs etc etc blah blah…

TRUE OR FALSE?  The offers aren’t just at the vets. If you take your pet along to your local bank, not only will they open a current account for it, they’ll also give it a free four-sleeved T-shirt with the bank’s logo on the back.

THE DEAL: John Wayne: The Complete Paramount Collection: 14 DVDs for only £17.99 delivered. Including classics like True Grit, Big Jake and Weekend At Bernies 2.

TRUE OR FALSE?  John Wayne’s real name was Jayne Wayne.

True or false, Pringles sprinkle magic dust (read Coccaine) onto each and every 'Pringle' so they can leagally use the 'Once you pop, you can't stop' strapline.? Answer: True

In my opinion you are mistaken. I can prove it. Write to me in PM, we will discuss.
