HotUKDeals Of The Day - Friday 30th October

30 October 2009

hukd_logob1 A very good Friday to you all. Now sit back and wallow in our magical game of reality and bluff that we call True Or False Friday.

Simply peruse the bargains from HotUKDeals then try and decide if the accompanying statements are bollocks or unbollocks. Spice it up yourself with the use of some dice or a flipped coin, it’s entirely up to you.

514712THE DEAL:  A red, 16-piece stoneware dinner set. Was £26.19, now £8.74. Makes red dinners taste even redder.

TRUE OR FALSE?  In Turkey, eating a predominantly red dinner outdoors is recognised as a sign of distress. You could find yourself being rescued halfway through your tomato-based dish.

514576THE DEAL:  Two pairs of flannel pyjamas for £20. Normally retailing at £30 each. Them’s some crazy maths there.

TRUE OR FALSE?  Google are developing pyjamas with wireless, touch-sensitive areas that will allow people to work without leaving their beds. The problem of bed sores will be solved by downloading special skin patches into the pyjamas.

514647THE DEAL:  A one-year, 12-issue subscription to The Economist magazine for just £1. Contains the same kind of highbrow analysis that you get with Bitterwallet.

TRUE OR FALSE?  The Economist is famed for playing host to the world’s toughest crossword, which is both invisible and upside down.

(deals found by HUKD members melanie22, michellerfc and Trosticles)

TRUE OR FALSE? All statements are FALSE

I'm beginning to see a pattern in these games. I think next week I may try for all 3 correct answers.
Take me off pre-moderate status you cunts!
