HotUKDeals Of The Day - Friday 28th January

28 January 2011

hukd_logob1It’s the end of another abysmal week and rather than reaching for the nearest bottle of boozular liquid, why not exercise your minds instead with our exciting, death-defying* True Or False Friday game. It’s a bit like Deal Or No Deal but kind of better.

As ever, marvel at the special offers that we have plucked from HotUKDeals and then try and solve the tricky true or false conundrum that follows it. Last week’s statements were all FALSE.

863187_1THE DEAL: Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood on the Xbox or PS3 for only £22.99 (with possible cashback)

TRUE OR FALSE? The central character in the game was originally going to be Barry George until his conviction for the murder of Kill Dando was quashed. Sorry, that should have said Jill Dando.

862949_1THE DEAL: A whole bathroom, and all for just £199 delivered.

TRUE OR FALSE? Under United Nations law, this is not classed as a ‘whole bathroom’ as it doesn’t include a vomiting booth, a moveable trench or a giant foam hand.

863287_1THE DEAL: Free Lego Club membership, with a free mini figure and other various benefits.

TRUE OR FALSE? The Lego Club is open from 7pm until midnight, seven nights a week, and entertainment includes Lego bingo, Lego variety acts and, on Sunday lunchtimes, Lego strippers.

(deals found by HUKD members Runix78, shadow1 and lucerysmum)

(*game may not actually defy death, or in fact, be an actual game)

I think I've got 1 and 3 nailed but #2 has aroused my suspicions. Last I heard nobody paid attention to UN law which makes this a trick question. Do I win?

Weird, now I'm imagining lego strippers and it's not as strange as i thought it'd be
