ASUS launches touchscreen PC in time for Christmas

13 October 2008

Perhaps it was some sixth sense, but in the same week Apple prepares to launch a new assault on the computer market, ASUS has announced their new touchscreen PC is available on pre-order. That's right kids, it'll be like having a pub quiz machine in your own home. But without the surly bar staff and over priced mixers.

The ASUS Eee All-in-One Touchscreen PC has a 15.6-inch touchscreen, wifi, ethernet, a 1.3 mega-pixel webcam and 4 watt speakers. It probably makes coffee, too. Running Windows XP Home, you can pre-order your touchscreen orgasmatron for £399.99 from play.com.

While this topic can be very challenging for most people, my belief is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do value that you've added pertinent and intelligent commentary here though. Very much thanks to you!

Darn it I just spent ages typing a long comment, and when I tried to send it my Internet Explorer did something really weird. Did you get it or do I need to retype the whole thing?

Darn it I just entered a long and comprehensive comment, and when I tried to submit it my browser did something really weird. Was it somehow saved or do I need to redo it?
