A celebration of rotten recessionary repair work
What with the ongoing recession, etc etc, many of us are cutting back on things such as replacing broken and worn-out goods. To make further savings, some of us are cutting back on paying for repairs for those aforementioned goods, choosing instead to have a half-arsed bash at mending them ourselves.
Now there’s a website where you can see a collection of such bodge-jobs. It’s called ‘There, I Fixed It’ and has spectacularly ill-advised repair work of all kinds from around the world. We’ve nicked some of best (worst?) ones to show you here, but as the site is getting more popular by the day, the standard should get even higher in the near future.
