Samsung go round the bend

4 September 2014

samsung edge Samsung have brought out a phone with a bendaround screen, because that's exactly what everyone has been asking for all these years.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a screen that bends around the side of it and Samsung reckon that the new phone will allow users to have easier access to most-used apps, alerts and all that when the screen is closed.

It will also give users notifications on the edge screen while you're doing other stuff on the main screen.

Samsung added that the Galaxy Note Edge should be out in the UK soon, like some vague rock group who've not been fully briefed on their touring schedule.

The Note Edge was revealed alongside a new Galaxy Note 4, which you may be able to deduce is the latest and - hey - fourth addition to the Note range.

They've also unveiled the Samsung Gear VR headset, which is powered by Oculus technology which they reckon "delivers a completely new way to experience and consume mobile content".

It's like Future Sound of London's daydreams have finally happened.
