Who are the most improved brands of 2015?

13 January 2016

Wonga A list has been published about the most improved brands of 2015, and there's some very surprising appearances in there.

You might be thinking that Wonga, Tesco, and Ryanair are universally loathed, but according to a YouGov BrandIndex thing, the people of Britain think that this shower are on the up. Seriously. We're not making this up.

The list of the most improved brands of 2015 is as follows:

Co-operative Bank
British Gas
The Co-operative
Co-operative Insurance
Lloyds Bank

That all said, according to the results, a place on the 'most improved' list doesn't necessarily mean that the companies are now wildly adored by everyone. Overall, Wonga had a score of -20.6, despite being better thought of. All this means, is that they're considered to be less crap than they used to be.

So who are the top brands of 2015? Well, the two supermarkets that are causing all manner of trouble for their rivals top the pile, while John Lewis and Apple make an unsurprising appearance.

The list of best brands of 2015 is as follows:

BBC iPlayer
John Lewis
Marks & Spencer
Yorkshire Tea
Apple / Waitrose
