Staff quit jobs with public notice to awful boss

5 September 2013

Staff at a shop decided to jack their jobs in during the middle of a working day with a very public note to their boss. The staff have accused their gaffer of being abusive and of course, a photo of their resignation went mental online.

If you can't read the sign on the photo, it says: "Dear Jamie, Since you decided to say 'cancer is not an excuse' and think it's OK to swear at your employees like you do ALL the time... WE QUIT."

"THIS is why you can't keep a store manager longer than a year. YOU ABUSE your [role] and staff. Enjoy the fact that you lost a store manager, co-manager and key holder in the middle of Back to School. Think next time before you treat people the way you do."

Is 'abus[ing] your roll" a euphemism?

Cancer isn't an excuse though. And I regularly abuse my roll, most nights actually.

Looks like a sole trader not a branch of somewhere. Wonder where it is?

Why would he abuse his lunch. Or does he abuse his sandwich occasionally as well

Does he abuse his staff as well, or is that the same as abusing his roll? Are they quitting because their boss masturbates? Do all of them have cancer?

Seriously, good on them! ..jamie sounds like the sort of muppet that trolls on here. Probably a fox bummer too! Moff, what's the origin of this employee led walkout? u.k. / u.s. ?

@Dicky Surely you've been on here long enough to know that the authors don't reply to comments? They don't actually give a fuck about what they write as they only get around a fiver per article. Which, coincidentally enough, is enough for a four pack of Tennant's!
  • Grandma N.
A fiver is too much for Lucy Sweets crap regurgitate the (daily) mail & spout crap about males.
