Lakeland nab crown as Britain's top shop
A survey of 14,000 shoppers by the finger-poppin’ dudes and dudettes at Which! Magazine has found that ‘creative kitchenware’ retailer Lakeland is Britain’s best shop.
What started off as an animal feed-packing business mutated into a chain of 47 kitchenware stores and they have topped the poll thanks to their outstanding customer service, offering unhappy customers no-quibble refunds on anything, irrespective of how long they have had it or where they might have been shoving it.
Richer Sounds came second in the Which! poll, gaining lots of praise for its “lovely, helpful knowledgeable staff” and “excellent aftercare” followed by Apple’s stores, early 1990’s shoegazing band Lush and John Lewis. Currys Digital and WH Smith finished rock bottom in the survey
But which of the big five gets your vote? There’s only one way to find out – poll!!
