Sony to announce PlayStation 4 on February 20th?

1 February 2013

Sony are teasing everyone today with a new video that invites us all to "see the future". In the video, which you can see below, Sony are making an announcement regarding PlayStation 6 pm Eastern Time on Wednesday, February 20th. Through the video, there's a link to a website which invites you to be the 'first to know', which will presumably be a mailout about the PS4.

Invites have been sent to journalists too, for a press conference on the same day regarding the "future of PlayStation".

Sony, of course, won't say what this new teaser is about, but when asked, a spokesperson simply said: ""We will be talking about the PlayStation business."

Whether everyone will get to see the new PS4 design, or whether it'll be about the spec, is anyone's guess. For fans of gaming, this is obviously going to be big news either way. It is likely that there'll be a touchscreen element to the new console, as seen with the Wii U.
