Pokemon Go is about to be hacked

The Pokemon Go servers have been having a hard time for numerous reasons. Initially, it was groaning under the strain of massive use, and then some hackers decided to have a go at them.

This means there's been outages for people wanting to play the fantastically popular game.

The hack was by some people who call themselves 'PoodleCorp', and they said they're going to do it again in August.

Nice of them to give everyone a warning so they can plan accordingly. The group tweeted: "August 1st PoodleCorp Pokemon Go."

The previous message they posted said: "Just was a lil test. We will do something on a larger scale soon."

One of PoodleCorp even did an interview with a man who shouts everything he says.

And you can watch it here.

The PoodleCorper basically says that the group will be doing a DDOS takedown because "chaos is entertainment".

He said: "We'll be taking down Pokemon Go, all of the servers for Pokemon Go, all day long, for 24 hours on August 1."

So there you have it. Feel free to share 'WTF is this real news?' thoughts with us through the usual channels.
