The FIFA games make up for one of the most popular gaming franchises ever, so you can imagine the aggravation some felt, when the PlayStation Store went under, after the release of the demo version of FIFA 17.
Mercifully, the PS Store is back online, and working for most gamers in the UK.
Sony confirmed that the PlayStation Store was groaning under the weight of numerous issues, which were listed on the PSN Status website.
People were reporting 'wc-40383-8' errors, when they were trying to access the store, on both PS3 and PS4 platforms.
The PlayStation support team said: "We're aware that some users are having trouble accessing the PSN Store. Thanks for your patience as we investigate."
Mercifully, everything seems to be in working order, which means gamers can have a go at the playable FIFA 17 demo, which features the usual suspects like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Juventus.
There's also the appearance on the demo of Olympique Lyonnais, Seattle Sounders, and Mexico's Tigres U.A.N.L.
In the new FIFA game, there's a new thing called 'The Journey', which is one of the biggest changes in the FIFA universe in yonks!
Basically, it is a more immersive version of the Be A Pro mode. It adds a bit of narrative to proceedings, and you interact with other characters, hold post-match interviews, as well as controlling the young Alex Hunter while he's at home with his family and friends.
You develop Hunter's personality, as well as playing football matches and going through training, and the inevitable highs and lows of a professional football career.
It all looks very exciting, and at least you'll be able to get stuck into the FIFA 17 demo, now the issues with PSN have been sorted out.
