PlayStation Network problems

If you've been swearing at your PlayStation, because the network has been playing up - don't worry, it isn't just you.

There's been problems throughout the PlayStation Network, and Sony assure everyone that they have now been resolved. This has been messing with both PS3 and PS4.

"You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features," said an initial message from the PlayStation support team. "We're aware that some users are having trouble accessing PSN."

"Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience."

Sony will be performing some maintenance for the network later this month. You should expect some down time for about an hour on 07/19/2016, 5:30 AM to 07/19/2016, 6:30am.

Things should be working just fine right now, and handily, Sony have launched a sale so you can get great video games for bargain prices.

The PlayStation sale is digital-only, and there's discounts on almost 200 PS4, PS3 and Vita games, which is great news. This sale is going to run until August 24th, so there's no rush if life's getting in the way.
