HotUKDeals Of The Day - Thursday 19th May
It’s a tech-flavoured round-up of cheap stuff today, so we thought we’d get Gizmoid the office robot to do it for us. But the Dealspwn gang had nicked him, set his controls to ‘picnic butler’ and took him out in the sunshine with them. Curse you Dealspwn, curse you.
As per usual, the bargains all hail from the kingdom of savings that is HotUKDeals…
We’ll kick off today with a couple of gaming console offers that have generated some major heat. For Xbox owners, the exciting Kinect thing that allows you to run around and play your games instead of just sitting there is coming down in price – to a new low of £79.00 from tomorrow.
Then there’s the Nintendo Wii. If you want one but haven’t got round to getting one, or if yours is knackered and you need a replacement, you can get a pre-owned one from the weekend for just £49.99. Wii-mazing stuff there.
Onwards to more gadgety business, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1010 tablet thing. It’s a seven-incher, it’ll nestle in your palm, it’s got 32GB of memory, wifi, an LCD touchscreen, everything except an actual set of whiskers.
Why not see what all the fuss is about while simultaneously doing something constructive with that £250 note that’s been sitting over on the sideboard for months on end. As it’s only £249.99, you’ll get a nice shiny penny back as well as your Galaxy Tab.
Finally, yet MORE gadget-related foolishness. This time it’s a Tom Tom car kit for the Apple iPod Touch (1st, 2nd and 3rd generation versions). It comes with a GPS sensor, so that you can wham your Touch into it, stick it on your car windscreen (preferably on the inside as opposed to the outside) and use it as a sat nav.
It’s only £19.95 delivered, but you’ll need a sat nav app in order to be able to use it to its fullest capacity. You could fork out for the official Tom Tom app or you could pick up the NavFree app for… wait for it… nothing!
