HotUKDeals Of The Day - Thursday 15th January

15 January 2009

Death to cynicism and negativity! Today’s bargains have one thing in common – they’re affordable to all and will bring unconfined joy to everyone who comes into contact with them. You can’t beat a promise like that.

As ever, all are gleaned from the mine of savings that is better known as HotUKDeals. No sign of that canary pegging it yet!

First up, Amelie. One of the loveliest films you’ll ever see. We can’t say any more than that, except that you can get it on DVD for £2.99 and you absolutely should.

If you don’t watch the film to its end and feel that the world is a wonderful and beautiful place then you have a heart made from the hardest granite. Don’t eat too many sweets first though or you might do a little sick-up.

The next one is probably one to put away for warmer Spring days but it’ll give you something to look forward to. A 2-child bouncy castle with a little slide on the front. Aaaaahhhh, bless!

It’s just £69.56 delivered and you can get 6% off through Quidco. If you don’t have any kids, you can use it yourself or use it as an elaborate catapult contraption for firing beach balls high up into the air.

Finally, on to Little Big Planet. An amazing-looking and deeply-playable PS3 game that has been almost universally praised by reviewers across the board.

Guide your Sackboy or Sackgirl around the game’s pre-built levels, which you can then customise yourself and share with other players around the world. Isn’t that nice? Lowest prices for Little Big Planet here.
