HotUKDeals Of The Day - Monday 26th September

26 September 2011

new hukd logo Here’s our daily round up of the best bargains from HotUKDeals that Bill Gates described as “the best goddamned part of the whole fricken’ innnernets”. That’s Bill Gates, our milkman.

1024163_1We’re about to tell you about two of those ‘tablet computers’ that have been reduced in price. It’s tempting to make reference to an ‘overdose of tablets’ or say something along the lines of ‘keep taking the tablets!’ but we try not to be that corny.

Instead, we’ll just calmly explain that you can get a brand new 16GB wi-fi iPad 2 for just £379.05 delivered, or even a 32GB Motorola Xoom with a 10.1 inch display for just £299.99. Keep taking the tablets! Oh.

1024215_1Next up comes another tasty piece of hardware that you might like to treat yourself to as an early Christmas present. Go on, do it. In Twin Peaks, Agent Dale Cooper said you should give yourself a gift every single day, no matter how small.

If he wasn’t a fictional character in a TV series from 20 years ago, he’d almost certainly have agreed with us when we say you could do a lot worse than to fork out £199.99 on a 250GB Xbox 360 console that comes bundled with Gears Of War 3 and Fifa 12. Heck, he’d probably have taken a break from crimefighting and cherry pie in order to help you set it up.

1024375_1We’ll wrap things up with a couple of Blu-ray box sets that will be of particular interest to you if you’re a fan of seeing blokes running around while shouting their heads off and letting off their guns. Which, let’s face it, is all of us.

First up comes the Lethal Weapon collection, containing films 1 to 4 in a 5-disc box set for only £13.99. Then there’s more mayhem from the Band Of Brothers lads, with their series also available for just £13.99 (the DVD is even cheaper at £11.99).
