HotUKDeals Of The Day - Monday 6th July

6 July 2009

If you’re anything like us, you’re probably packing your bags right now, after winning tickets to the Michael Jackson memorial rally. Apparently you get a balloon with a sad face on it and a free can of Jesus Juice on the way out. Yay!

For the rest of you suckers who missed out, here’s some bargains that have been plucked from what has not been a scorching day for them. Thanks to HotUKDeals members for ploughing on regardless. To Los Angeles!

First up, a chance for you to get a free upgrade to Windows 7 when it is released. If you bought a laptop or PC after June 26th that has Vista (not basic) you could blag an upgrade to the new OS later in the year.

To qualify, you’ll have had to have bought your laptop or PC from a participating manufacturer. More info on whether you’ll qualify for this offer over at HotUKDeals.

Next, just what you’ve only just realised you’ve always wanated a solar-powered messenger/travel bag. With a solar panel on the front, it’ll recharge your gadgets, boil water, fire laser beams around in low-quality discos and turn the accompanying shoes into high speed modes of transport.

Well, it’ll definitely recharge your gadgets at least. Well, some of your gadgets. We’re assuming all that other stuff we wrote. Still, £19.95 for a beige conversation-starter isn’t too bad is it?

You might be able to keep the sun in your bag, but you’d never get a bed in a bag. Or would you? Yes! Say hello and give an air kiss on both cheeks to the Bed In A Bag. A single bed is only £4.99 while you can have a double for just £9.99.

We’re not sure whether you have to get into the bag in order to use the thing. That would seem sort of pointless, and would make it more like a sleeping bag for a mole or a tiny person. Crimefighters, if you have findings on this one, please report back with them on the double. Or the single, we’re not fussy.
