Apple roar 'Siri is iPhone 4S only!'

9 November 2011

siri-and-her-dad Last week, we showed you how some quick-witted boffins had sussed how to port Apple’s chittle-chattle phone controlling software Siri to older versions of the iPhone and iPod Touch, even though it’s only currently available in the new iPhone 4S. Would this mean that it would soon be coming to the rest of the Apple iDevice range. NO, say Apple. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!

An Apple spokesface says: “Siri only works on iPhone 4S and we currently have no plans to support older devices”. So if Siri-exclusivity is your thing, you should probably go ahead and invest in an iPhone 4S. Mind you, we’ve heard that the iPhone 5 will have the exclusive ability to see through people’s clothes…

Is there a point buying the 4S if you want Siri as it only works properly if you live in the US anyway?

Siri is crap anyway, its one of this things you try many 10 times and then forget about it. Anyway, does anyone use the google search app on the iPhone 4 ? it has voice recognition too, So I don't know why Siri should not work on iPhone 4!

What do you think?
