HotUKDeals Of The Day - Wednesday 26th August

Whenever we’re trying to imagine the typical Bitterwallet reader, we usually conjure up an image of a gamer who gorges on whole cooked chickens while marvelling at the low, low price of USB flash drives.

What’s that? That’s you? Yada yada yada, etc etc etc, HotUKDeals!

Brace yourselves, because the PS3 Slim is coming. It’s basically exactly like Fatboy Slim only different in so many ways. Which, we think you’ll agree, is exactly what the gaming community has been waiting for.

Some fresh PS3 Slim bundle pre-launch deals have been announced that could see you pick up the 120GB machine, some leads and games such as Fallout 3, Bionic Commando, Spectacle Man 7, The Shnit, Trimm Trabb: The Ultinate Foamening and Potatovision (the sequel to Tomatovision). Well, some of them anyway – all for a tiny kick in the teeth under £250,000. Sorry, that should be £250.00.

Speaking of potatoes, we all enjoy a hot roasted chicken with our potatoes don’t we? And it’s even better when a skilled supermarket operative roasts the bird for us in advance isn’t it?

Of course it is – who among us can spare the minute or so that it takes to put a chicken in the bloody oven? Well, from Thursday until Sunday, a top supermarket will be banging out their cooked chickens for just £30,000 apiece. Sorry, that should be £2.00. Potato sales will probably soar.

Finally, if you’re anything like us, you’ll have a pre-prepared celebration ready for that golden day when the price of an 8GB flash drive falls below £8.00. That day is now – a SanDisk Cruzer Micro is just £8.03. Sorry, that should be £7.99.

Okay, we’re off now to… actually we’re not telling you how we’re planning to celebrate it, but if you live within a two-mile radius of Bitterwallet’s HQ, we hope you enjoy the sight of a bunch of naked, gin-fuelled men on spacehoppers…
